Side Conky v2.0 (Update for new Arch system) by JeSuisNerd Side Conky v2.0 (Update for new Arch system) by JeSuisNerd
Full details are in my post on the ArchLinux forums here, with links to all of my config files. [link] Check this out for more information about the scripts included here and the fonts I've made use of (and, if you didn't already know about it, lots of other useful conky info).

Please comment or leave suggestions! You're free to use my work as you like, but please credit me if you share.

Fonts used that you should have installed for spacing to work correctly:
--Bitstream Vera Sans Mono
--Ubuntu

Haha, thanks!  This was ages ago, I've since started from scratch and have a much more minimal conky setup now, which I should probably upload sometime.  If you're curios, it's already posted on the Arch forums at the following link.

Many thanks! I know this was posted 8 months ago, but I'm still using almost exactly the same theme for my conky.

Oh wow, no pressure then. :]

I'm pretty content with my current setup, but when I do get around to making a new one, it'll also be vertical and feel like this one ([link]) with more colors.

Starting at line 174 in /scripts/conky_widgets.lua you'll see sections for two "upspeedf" and two "downspeedf" graphs. A few lines down in each, you can adjust the X and Y location of each graph. IIRC, these are measured from the top left of the space Conky is allocated. They don't just point to the top left of the graph, either; you have to picture each graph as if it were rightway up, and the coordinate is for the bottom left of that.

If I've been unclear about anything, please let me know!

Also, not sure if you were adjusting the fonts yourself or if you don't have the same ones installed that I do. I've updated the post with the only two fonts I've used, if not to help you then for everyone else.

AWESOME WORK! creative conky scripts like this are a rarity. It a relief from the usual (boring) bar design. I'm sure it will find a place in 'The Best Conky Setups' soon enough. Good luck.

Wow, I'm flattered.
My guess is that it's too spaced out and big to end up being liked by many others, but at least it's tailored to exactly what I wanted.

Thanks! I've spent around a year with variations and improvements on the same theme, but I think I've found a keeper.
